Features 16 strands of quality tan and black B55 string material center served with a black Nylon serving. Using BCY's B55 string material... makes this string safe to use on any bow. Offering more stretch in the material to be easier on bow tips. So a great string to use on older bows that do not have reinforced bow tips. Available for longbows or recurve bows in actual bow string lengths of 47" to 64", in one inch increments. Please specify. Remember, for a proper brace height, a longbow will use a bow string 3" shorter than they are marked, and a recurve uses a bow string 4" shorter. So, if your bow is a longbow with an AMO marked 60", a 57" bow string will be what you need. If your bow is a recurve bow and it is marked AMO 60", a 56" bow string will be what you need.

Seems like a very good string and is noticeably quieter than others I have used. But,WHOLLY STRETCH! Had to shoot it and twist every day for a week. Probably stretched 4 or more inches. Works great now.

I read where, even though the order is made 4" shorter than amo for recurve, it stretches so much that it requires excessive twisting. To compensate, should we order 5" shorter, and with alot of stretch, let it fall right into correct length. ?
