Simply insert the provided butterfly nut into the spinal opening on the base of the skull and tighten the bolt unt...il it is secured. It fits most skulls, including large game such as whitetail and mule deer. The bracket is fastened to the wall using the included screws. Then you simply slide the swing arm into the collar of the bracket. The Skullhook is also pivot and rotation adjustable. Extends approximately 6" from wall when assembled.
