This bundle of rawhide leather remnants is ideal for do-it-yourselfers. Use them for bow building or leather working projects. Ideal for backing bows, making bow wraps, armguards, quivers, knife sheaths, rawhide lacing, and more. You will need to soak your rawhide in warm water to rehydrate it and... make it more workable. Don't soak it too long or the fibers will start to break down. Experienced leather workers can also cure and waterproof their rawhide using fat, wax, resin, or tar. Rawhide remnants are sold in 16 ounce bundles. Please note, these are pieces and strips of unequal dimensions. There is no guarantee you will get pieces in the specific size or dimensions required for your project.
