Fill the chambers with propellant, leaving on...e chamber empty as the safety chamber. Then put a shooting wad over the powder in each chamber. Place the proper size ball atop each chamber. Then firmly push the handle down to seat the ball into the chamber. Repeat the procedure for each chamber. This loading stand works with .44 caliber Pietta models 1851, 1858, 1860, and 1873. It will not fit .31 or .36 caliber cylinders. Made from sturdy metal and wood components. Measures approximately 9" long x 3-1/2" tall x 3" wide. Weighs 1 lb. 3 oz. Cylinder sold separately.
